Dr. Boese is very excited to introduce the first Calmare Therapy medical device in the Treasure Valley

area here at Pain Care Clinic of Idaho, P.C.

Calmare Pain Therapy is a technologically advanced solution using a medical device to treat pain coming

through damaged, non-functioning nerves that behave erratically. It is an FDA cleared therapy to be

delivered by a physician that is a safe, non-invasive, non-narcotic method of treatment that is

comfortable for the patient. It relieves pain by providing a “no-pain” signal to cutaneous nerves

delivered by surface electrodes applied to the skin to block the pain information. The perception of pain

is canceled when a “no-pain” message replaces that of pain. It retrains the central nervous system to

respond normally and because of this process Calmare Pain Therapy is also known as Scrambler

Pain Care Clinic of Idaho is also offering the new InterX system for acute and chronic pain, inflammation

and edema.

Dr. Boese is also a Harvard trained Medical Acupuncturist. He said, “Medical Acupuncture is

administered by a physician knowledgeable in both Eastern and Western methods. As a physician I am

able to evaluate the patient’s health condition and discuss with the patient the type of treatments best

suited for them and to evaluate these treatment outcomes. Medical Acupuncture is also an alternative

approach for non-narcotic and management of acute and chronic pain and chronic diseases. As a

Diplomate of the A.B.M.A. he has also learned and practiced multiple traditions of Acupuncture such as

Chinese, Japanese, German, Korean and French.”

HIS GOALS: To promote healing with dedicated efforts by physician and staff to alleviate chronic pain,

neuropathic pain and other chronic disease symptoms with effective medical treatment therapies

sensitive to the patient’s needs. To provide an effective non-invasive, non-narcotic management of

chronic pain and other chronic conditions. To provide a treatment plan that respects and values a

patient’s input, choices and treatment outcomes. To maintain the highest standards of medical
